January Crop Recap

Due to the storm Friday night everyone was a little hesitant to leave their house but all the roads were clear and all the Crop Addicts arrived in time for the Queen of the Crop announcement. Michele Y from Wonder Lake was our January Queen of the Crop.

Michele was also the only one, besides Kandi & I, that showed up in pajamas. She received extra raffle tickets for her effort. Where did she hear she should wear pjs to get more raffle tickets? On our FB page of course! You never know when we might post something so check it often.

Jeni J was awarded a Crop Addict Club certificate for attending eight (8) Crop Addict crops. She gets 50% off any regular priced Saturday only crop of her choice. Congrats Jeni!

We had a great time playing games: What’s in Your Tote? and Pictureka. The crop was full of great competitors, which really means there was a ton of screaming and laughing! Michelle B had a scare when she thought she found a giant, black spider in her tote. It was only plastic and planted there by her friends who know how much she LOVES spiders. Hopefully the revenge won’t be too bad.

If you ever miss an episode of American Idol you should stop by the crop even if you can’t attend. It was a hot topic of conversation along with who has secret scrappy shipments coming without their husbands knowledge (ssshhhh!), the new Sew Easy tool we demo’d (and sold out of!), and scrapbook kit club reviews.

We enjoyed a lunch of Italian beef from Riviera in McHenry, potato salad, and cookies and dinner of Rosati’s mostaccioli, salad, and garlic bread followed by a triple chocolate cake. If you haven’t heard, calories don’t count when you’re crafting.

At the end of the night, Melissa G from Joliet was our Crop Addict raffle winner. She took home a Creative Options Total Tote! Coincidentally, her Cuttlebug fits perfectly inside and now has a cozy little home. Mindy S from Round Lake was our Night Owl winner. She received a Fiskars border punch and alpha stickers. Congrats ladies!

We hope you can join us at the next crop on February 18th. Visit www.paperstash.com/registration.php for details.
